CANONGE — Assel Jean-Pierre Jr. | Official Music Video “Canonge” is an original composition by pianist and composer Assel Jean-Pierre Jr., bringing together jazz improvisation, Caribbean rhythm, and the classical influence that has shaped my musical voice. This piece represents a lot of what I want my music to be — rooted in where I come from, influenced by everything I’ve studied, and still completely free to go wherever the music takes us. Featuring: Piano — Assel Jean-Pierre Jr. Drums — Gerald Law II Bass — Lavon Rushing If you enjoy the music, subscribe to the channel, leave a comment, and share “Canonge” with someone who loves jazz and Caribbean music. I love to make the piano sing when I play, and it's so much better when my audience sings with me... Listen till the end.., and make sure you're there next time to sing with me! #asseljeanpierrejr #shorts #lovesongs #swingwithme

My piano student had her first solo recital this past weekend at just 8 years! I've been working with her since she was 3, and she's already won competitions and performed at Carnegie as well! She wanted me to play something jazzy, so I decided to play Mō Lì Huā / Jasmine Flower, which is a very iconic song in Chinese Culture, music is so different across cultures, and really changes your approach, enjoy! like! subscribe!

Hymne à l'Amour by @edithpiafofficiel I fell in love with this song when I heard @CelineDion for the Olympics in Paris. So I performed it in my past show! Showing more of my classical side!
